Guns N’ Roses kicked off their highly anticipated 2023 world tour with a bang on Saturday night at the Croix-Bleue Medavie Stadium in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. The sold-out show was a three-hour rock spectacle that had the audience on their feet, belting out classic anthems such as “Welcome To The Jungle,” “November Rain,” “Civil War,” and “You Could Be Mine.” The excitement reached a new level when country superstar Carrie Underwood graced the stage, joining Guns N’ Roses for electrifying renditions of “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City.”

The night was captured in vibrant photographs by talented photographer Guilherme Neto and shared by Guns N’ Roses’ publicists at The Oriel Company. This monumental tour will continue to light up historic venues across the United States, with upcoming stops including Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts on August 21 and Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois on August 24.

Guns N’ Roses has ensured an unforgettable journey for fans by enlisting a lineup of special guests for the North American leg of their tour, featuring the likes of THE PRETENDERS, ALICE IN CHAINS, THE WARNING, and DIRTY HONEY. The tour will conclude at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on October 16, after a series of legendary performances throughout Europe, including iconic shows at Glastonbury and Hyde Park, and sold-out concerts in Abu Dhabi, Tel Aviv, Budapest, and more.

Amid the excitement, fans can also anticipate the release of the long-awaited “Perhaps,” a shelved track from the “Chinese Democracy”-era, which is expected to drop on August 11. The anticipation has been building since Guns N’ Roses performed a soundcheck of the song in Tel Aviv, Israel earlier this year. Swift fans who were present recorded the rehearsal, and the buzz around the song has been growing ever since.

Guns N’ Roses’ most recent offering was the four-song EP “Hard Skool,” released in February 2022. This EP featured the title track, “Absurd” (stylized as “ABSUЯD”), along with live versions of “Don’t Cry” and “You’re Crazy.”

Carrie Underwood, a powerhouse in both country music and the winner of American Idol, took the opening act spot by storm, showcasing her versatility with a raucous rendition of Motörhead’s “Ace of Spades.” Her setlist was a powerhouse in itself, featuring her chart-topping hits as well as rock covers such as Joan Jett’s “Bad Reputation” and Pat Benatar’s “Hit Me With Your Best Shot.”

Underwood’s captivating performance with Guns N’ Roses has left fans hungry for more, as she continues to showcase her star power on the road and during her Las Vegas residency, proving herself as a force to be reckoned with in the world of music.
