The famous South Korean band, BTS, has teamed up with Fall Guys team to play the game on their upcoming episode of weekly web series called as Run BTS. It was revealed by an official tweet by the Fall Guys team on Twitter.
BTS and Fall Guys Unite
The new episode of the K-Pop band will be released on November 10, and will be available to watch on Weverse. Fall guys has been highly popular among the masses for quite some time now. Adding BTS to it will surely be a sweet treat for fans of the game as well as BTS. It appears as a good move to save the game from being written off in history books.
Fall Guys has seen a massive dip in popularity since its release in August this year. The number of people watching streamers play the game on Twitch has come to 5000. It seems that the game has taken a serious blow in the number of viewers. In August, more than hundreds of thousands of Twitch viewers were regularly watching streamers playing Fall Guys.
Developer Mediatonic released a new Season 2 of Fall Guys in October this year but it has so far received only negative criticism. Many fans quickly noted that the new season only brought with 4 new mini-games and few bug fixes. Many players felt disappointed that addition of more new content wasn’t done in the latest season. Despite this, the game still holds a player base of 18000 on Steam. However, in reality, it is no where near the game’s highest player base of more than 172000 players.
To soften the blow, a new Godzilla themed skin was made available for purchase in the game’s item shop. It is a part of the latest Godzilla day. Players can easily purchase the new skin by paying 10 game crowns before it is removed from the shop.
