MapleStory Announces Collaboration With Korea’s BTS

It seems like Korea’s much loved boy band BTS has been dipping deep in the world of video games this year and it looks like they are going to carry it on for a few more months. Previously, the boyband teamed up with Fall Guys and now it appears they are joining hands with MapleStory.

BTS shakes hands with Maplestory

Maplestory is an online Korean game that involves role-playing with thousands of other players from around the world. Many members of BTS have their own personal history with this game. With the limited info being released about the gathering, it is not entirely clear what the BTS members will offer to the mysterious world of Maplestory. The game has previously held crossovers with many of the renowned animes and other games alike, but such a collaboration with BTS is a first for them. They chose BTS over several other musical groups even though they have the same popularity as BTS.

A teaser video that has been released includes all of the BTS members and they can be seem pretty excited about the new collaborative effort. Three other videos will also be released a bit later which will showcase the favorite moments of all of the members of the K-Pop group while they played the game, as shared by them. More details regarding the BTS and Maplestory collab will be soon released on website of Maplestory.

The Korean boyband has already released two of their own videogames named BTS World back in 2019, and?BTS Universe Story in the current year. They have also partnered with Samsung to promote their latest Galaxy Note 20 and Xbox’s Game Pass via the device. They also played Fall Guys on the web series called Run BTS. Lastly, they released their new hit single, Dynamite, in September this year via Fortnite’s Party Royale?platform for virtual events.
