Rapper Quando Rondo must no longer be able to drive and must submit to drug testing in order to avoid being locked up while he awaits trial on gang and drug-related allegations, a Georgia judge ordered on Thursday.
Tyquian Terrel Bowman, a 24-year-old rapper, made an appearance in a Savannah courthouse as prosecutors unsuccessfully requested that the judge revoke the $100,000 bond that the rapper paid after being charged last month.
Only a few weeks after being released on bond from jail, Bowman crashed his automobile on July 19. Emergency personnel at the crash site allegedly gave Bowman Narcan, a medication used to treat opiate overdoses, because he had signs of an overdose.
Bowman’s release on bail was subject to a prohibition against drug use.

According to WTOC-TV, Kimberly Copeland, Bowman’s attorney, told the judge on Thursday that her client wasn’t driving carelessly and that some of the drugs he had been taking were prescribed.
According to press reports, Chatham County Superior Court Judge Tammy Stokes indicated that Bowman can continue to be free before his trial as long as he abides by the new conditions she put in place on Thursday.
Stokes informed Bowman, “You are a young man with a career in front of you. “Various opportunities. The fact is that you are solely responsible.
A Chatham County grand jury indicted Bowman and 18 other people last month. Bowman was accused with four offences, including managing the “Rollin’ 60s,” an unlawful street gang. His additional accusations include collaborating with others to purchase pills of the narcotic hydrocodone and distribute marijuana.
Additional charges related to the auto accident, according to the prosecution, are pending.
The rapper known under the stage name Quando Rondo’s singles “I Remember” and “ABG” helped him land a deal with Atlantic Records, which issued his debut album, “QPac,” in 2020. “Recovery,” his follow-up album, was released in March.
