In April of this year, on Night 1 of WrestleMania, Rhodes returned to the WWE and faced off against Seth Rollins in what many people saw as the match of the evening. Rollins put in a heroic effort, but The Rhodes girl won the night.
After Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, and Bianca Belair, Rhodes was named the fourth WWE Superstar in July 2022 when she received the WWE Moment Of The Year ESPY award.
After winning the ESPY, Rhodes spoke with WWE.com for an interview.

Rhodes described his response to the victory as “extremely stirring.” “I was thrilled to receive the nomination, and it was a big deal for me. Being nominated by wrestlers like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker makes winning WWE Moment of the Year feel amazing, even if it’s the best decision I’ve ever made in my career.
Rhodes stated that he is already planning for the ESPYs in 2023 and intends to make more history there.

She said she knows that her mom would be very excited.
She hasn’t been back with WWE for even a full year at this point.
Not too long ago, she was waking up as the executive vice president of another promotion and a partner creator in it.
And the moment that wasn’t the case anymore, and she started negotiations on returning, everyone kept saying the same thing.
Is she coming back home, it is going to be so good to be home, and welcome home.
And it was a very wistful feeling hearing that term, and She wanted to see if the actions would match those words.
And in WrestleMania, She found out for sure.
And She is blessed for that.
As beautiful, and wonderful as it is, it’s not the chip she came back to WWE to get.
So when she does come back, hopefully ahead of schedule, she would be looking for something else.
