Britney Spears married her husband Sam Asghari earlier this week in a small yet magical ceremony. On Friday, the pop star posted photos from her and Sam’s wedding to her Instagram account. “Fairytales are real,” she captioned a video. She may be seen kissing the groom as she walks down the aisle in the video. There were also peeks of other parts of the ceremony in the video. Britney Spears chose a Versace bridal gown for her big day and looked lovely as usual. She also published an Instagram post with photos of her celebrity friends that attended, including Madonna, Drew Barrymore, and Paris Hilton.
She shared another post, an excerpt from which read: “Wow! We did it. We got married! Gggggeeeeezzzzz ! It was the most spectacular day! I was so nervous all morning but then at 2:00 pm it really hit me … WE’RE GETTING MARRIED. I had a panic attack and then got it together. The crew who created our home into literally a dream castle were fantastic. The ceremony was a dream and the party was even better . So many incredible people came to our wedding and I’m still in shock.”
Variety and other trade media reported that Spears and her partner Sam Asghari were preparing to marry at her posh home in Los Angeles when the ceremony was stopped. Jason Alexander, a boyhood acquaintance with whom the 40-year-old singer had a brief relationship in 2004, invaded the sun-drenched gathering, prompting a police response. Alexander appears to have livestreamed the invasion on Instagram, with footage showing him informing a security guard that he had been invited.”Where’s Britney?” he can be heard saying. He later introduces himself and says as he steps into a pink tent decorated with flowers.: “So here’s the inside scoop, guys, on the bullshit wedding.”
The report was not immediately confirmed by AFP. Spears’ wedding to Asghari was not widely publicised, with word of the nuptials appearing just hours beforehand in specialist magazines. Last month, the couple reported that their surprise pregnancy, which they had announced only weeks before, had ended in a miscarriage. That revelation came five months after a Los Angeles judge terminated Spears’s father’s conservatorship, which she said had blocked her from having a contraceptive IUD removed despite her desire for more children. With her ex-husband Kevin Federline, she already has two teenage sons, Sean and Jayden.
In 2016, Asghari and Spears co-starred in a music video for her single “Slumber Party.” Spears has began referring to her 28-year-old lover as her “husband” after announcing their engagement late last year.
