Stranger Things Season 4: New Characters Joined! 3

In quarantine, new characters were cast.

Actor Joel Stoffer stated that he will be joining the cast of Stranger Things 4 in an interview with ComicBook.com. The actor has previously appeared in the Marvel series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. According to Stoffer, “On Stranger Things, I have a role that we haven’t yet shot… I don’t think it’ll be anything like long-term, but it’ll happen. When they call me, I’ll fly to Georgia, to Atlanta, and shoot it once they’re back up and running, since they’ve been down for quite some time.”

Season 4 has introduced a slew of new characters.

According to Deadline, multiple new parts have been cast, indicating that Season 4 will feature a large number of new characters. Jamie Campbell Bower (who played a teenage Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald), Booksmart’s Eduardo Franco, and Joseph Quinn have all joined the cast of Stranger Things (who played Koner in Game of Thrones).

Meanwhile, a slew of new recurring characters have been revealed. The arrival of Robert Englund, who is most known for playing Freddy Kreuger on screen, is maybe the most intriguing of all.

A mental facility will be featured in Stranger Things.

A psychiatric facility will be featured in several of the upcoming season’s episodes. Peter Ballard, a kind orderly who works at the hospital, is played by Jamie Campbell Bower. Meanwhile, according to Deadline, Robert Englund will portray Victor Creel, who is described as “a strange and frightening guy who is imprisoned in a psychiatric facility for a terrible murder in the 1950s.”

Eleven’s history is hinted at in a new teaser.

A Season 4 teaser, which was released on May 6, depicts children at the facility where Eleven was confined as a child, presumably hinting to the entrance of more superpowered kids. Dr. Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine) and a door with the number 11 on the front are also shown in the footage. “Are you paying attention, Eleven?” Dr. Brenner inquires. The final picture is a close-up of Eleven as she wakes up, gasping.

Eleven and the Byers family’s new existence in California will be depicted in Season 4.
During their Stranger Things Day online event, Netflix released the last teaser for the next season. Eleven narrates a letter to Mike in which she tells him that it’s been “day one-hundred eighty-five” since she, Will, Jonathan, and Joyce Byers left Hawkins, Indiana, for sunny California. The youngster claims to have “finally acclimated” to her new life, despite a montage showing that things at her new school are more difficult than she wants Mike to believe.
