Stranger Thing 4 is not the end!

Stranger Things season 3

Stranger Things 4 was revealed by Netflix in September 2019 with a teaser that displays the number four in the series’ trademark neon writing, located somewhere in the Upside Down, after months of uncertainty.

“We’re not in Hawkins anymore,” Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) remarked in an Instagram post, referring to the small Indiana town where the events of Stranger Things take place. According to Entertainment Weekly, the series appears to go beyond Hawkins’ bounds, especially given Season 3 finished with Eleven and the Byers family leaving out of town, followed by a post-credits sequence in Russia. Matt Duffer, the show’s creator, has previously stated that he wants to “expand out” the tale “to regions outside of Hawkins.”

Stranger Things’ creative team has hinted in recent years that the show will be renewed for more than three seasons. Shawn Levy told Collider definitively in April 2018 “I mean, I’d say we have a fair idea of what’s going to happen in Season 4. Season 4 is unmistakably on the way.” Those plotlines, however, have yet to be disclosed.

No debut date has been set as of yet, but we do know that Hopper is returning.

Matarazzo told Us that the continuation of Hopper’s narrative didn’t surprise him.

In January 2021, the New Jersey native remarked, “I suppose most of the cast had a pretty decent notion that he may be making a return, but they weren’t too sure about it from the beginning.” “It was quite evident by the time we got to the table read [and] we all started reading together.” But it was fantastic to have David there and have it verified.”

The Duffer brothers are still on board.

The Duffer Brothers were rumoured to be leaving Stranger Things “in a showrunner position” after Season 3 in February 2018, however Netflix promptly debunked the reports. “Make sure you don’t drop your Eggos. The Duffer Brothers are not leaving Stranger Things after Season 3 as rumoured “The business issued a tweet.

The plot will branch out of Hawkins.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Duffer brothers intend to expand the plot beyond Hawkins in Season 4. “I believe the greatest thing that’s going to change is it’s going to open up a little bit,” Matt Duffer told Entertainment Weekly. “Not necessarily in terms of size, in terms of amazing effects, but in terms of enabling plotlines into regions outside of Hawkins.”

Ross Duffer also indicated that the programme would investigate what was shown in the Season 3 post-credits scene, namely what the Russians are doing with a Demogorgon and who “the American” in the cage is.
