Plans for 36 new residences in the Nottingham suburb of Clifton have been given the go ahead. Nottingham City Homes (NCH) submitted a planning software to construct the flats on the website of the former Southchurch garages, off Hamilton Court. The flats, will be referred to as Southchurch Gardens and will be owned by way of Nottingham City Council. They will go on the council residence ready list.
Councillor Linda Woodings, portfolio holder for planning, housing and heritage at Nottingham City Council said, ?Nottingham wants a combine of all distinct kinds of housing and due to the excessive demand for residences for singles and couples in Clifton, these one-bedroom flats for low-cost hire will assist meet the desires of humans ready for a home.
NCH has carried out the manner and are due to appoint a contractor imminently. The sketch is to be on website online in early 2021, with the residences in 2022. Halsall Lloyd Partnership Architects have designed the site.
