Far Cry 6’s New Release Date Is Allegedly Set In May 2021

Far Cry 6

The new installment in the Far Cry game franchise, Far Cry 6, was recently pushed back from being released in February 2021. It had received no new release date and Ubisoft too didn’t make any official statement as to when the game will be released. But it looks like Xbox couldn’t keep their mouth sewed and it has listed the game’s new release date on the store page of Xbox.

Is Far Cry 6 really releasing on listed date?

A Twitter user named Wario64?revealed that a release date for the upcoming Far Cry 6 game was listed on the Xbox store page. The game is appearing to release at a date three months later than the one that was originally decided. The site shows the game’s release date as May 25, 2021. Though it doesn’t essentially indicate that the game will be actually released on the said date, but is appears that it may be actually happening.

Ubisoft will seemingly make an announcement about the game’s new release date and confirm whether the date on the Xbox site is real or not. Far Cry 6 will be released for Xbox One and PS4, however, it will be specially designed for the latest Xbox Series X and PS5. Such adjustments will make it the first proper game to play on the latest next generation consoles. The new installment in the franchise will bring back a voiced protagonist after Far Cry 5’s clear record, and highlights Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, The Mandalorian) as lowlife Presidente Anton Castillo.

Ubisoft Toronto considered the Cuban Revolution to create Far Cry 6’s story and look, with account chief Navid Khavari going through a month in the Caribbean island, conversing with genuine Cubans. You can pre-order Far Cry 6. It costs Rs. 3,999 for consoles, EUR 60 (about Rs. 5,280) on Ubisoft Store, and $44 (about Rs. 3,300) on Epic.
