The Community Shield is always a game to mark on the calendar because it marks the beginning of the men’s elite game in England. At Wembley, the reigning Premier League champions Manchester City and last year’s runners-up Arsenal will square off for the inaugural trophy of the new season.
This summer, Mikel Arteta bolstered his team with players like Declan Rice and Kai Havertz, and Mateo Kovacic switched from Chelsea to Man City to take Ilkay Gundogan’s position.
