Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon have joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. Based on the book “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer” by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, the film will follow the life and career of the man who invented the atomic bomb, as played by Cillian Murphy. Emily Blunt also as of late joined the cast and will play Oppenheimer’s significant other Katherine.

Presently, Deadline reports that two more huge names have been added to Oppenheimer. Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon have allegedly been cast in undefined jobs, joining Murphy and Blunt in the ambitious venture. While Damon recently worked with Nolan on Interstellar, this marks the chief’s first collaboration with Downey Jr. Oppenheimer is slated to begin shooting in the principal quarter of 2022 and appears to fabricate a gathering cast with these latest additions, with more names unquestionably en route to finish up the creation.
