Country singer Jimmie Allen has announced a comedy tour set to take place this fall, despite being embroiled in two lawsuits involving sexual assault and abuse. The 38-year-old artist made the announcement on social media, stating that the tour, titled “‘I Said What I Said,'” will consist of three nights. However, no official dates or venues have been disclosed yet.
Allen’s comedy tour announcement comes shortly after he filed two counterclaims against women who had previously accused him of sexual assault and abuse earlier this year. The singer’s main goal in responding to these women in court is to protect his reputation and deny the allegations that have caused significant harm to his family, mental health, and career.

In May, Allen was sued by his former manager, who alleged that he subjected her to rape, abuse, and sexual harassment while under the supervision of his management team. In June, a second woman filed a lawsuit, accusing the musician of secretly filming their sexual encounter in a hotel room and engaging in sexual contact without her consent after she had revoked it.
Addressing the lawsuits, Jimmie Allen stated that he took his time responding publicly as he wanted to prioritize fixing his family, especially after both he and his pregnant wife, Alexis, filed for divorce in April after three years of marriage. He also emphasized seeking professional help to cope with the situation, which has caused him immense humiliation and amplified racial prejudice and threats he has faced as a Black man in the country music industry.
The singer further claimed that the false allegations led to the loss of numerous business and endorsement opportunities he had worked hard to secure, causing severe financial damage not only to him but also to his band, team, and their families.
Beth Fegan, an attorney representing the accusers, responded to Allen’s counterclaims, asserting that they are not surprised and that the allegations are false. Meanwhile, in the wake of the accusations, the artist faced significant consequences, being dropped by his record label, BBR Music Group, as well as his agency, UTA, and publicity firm, Full Coverage Communications.
Despite the legal challenges, Jimmie Allen is determined to move forward and focus on his family’s well-being. He clarified that when he mentioned “fixing my family first,” he meant ensuring their mental health and stability in light of the hurtful and false accusations.
Amid the ongoing divorce proceedings with Alexis, the singer remains hopeful about working together as a family to resolve their issues. He previously issued a public apology to his wife, expressing regret for humiliating her with his affair and acknowledging that his choices had brought shame upon her, which she did not deserve. As the legal battles continue, Jimmie Allen is navigating through a challenging period in his life and career, trying to find a path forward with resilience and support for his loved ones.
