BTS did not win any Grammy award this year but they again succeeded in capturing viewer’s attention with their performance and style, the Korean boys performed in the ceremony and managed to keep the audience engaged and received standing ovation with a loud applause. One of the moments which is making headlines and excited the ARMY was when one of the members of BTS called V was caught flirting with Olivia Rodrigo before their stage performance.
BTS, in spite of facing many hurdles, gave a memorable performance at the Grammys of their song called “Butter”. A week before, the best dancer in the Korean pop boy band called J-Hope tested positive for Covid-19 and ARMY was concerned that he will not be able to take part in their Grammy’s performance but he recovered. Although, as the problem of J-Hope sorted out, the youngest member of BTS called Jungkook also tested positive after reaching Las Vegas.
All the members of the band made it to the Grammys ceremony but the member Jin could not dance in the performance due to his finger injury and subsequent surgery. Therefore, he sat near a huge technical setup, Jin pretended to regulate the digital part of their act. BTS delivered a rendition of James Bond and Now You See Me, playing with cards and laser beams. Before their peformance kicked off, BTS’ V was caught talking to Olivia Rodrigo simultaneously looking into her eyes, then whispered something in her ear which made her gasp in shock. Later, V did a trick with the card in front of her.
Olivia Rodrigo and BTS’s V chemistry incited interest in their fans who expressed their thoughts on social media, sharing memes and stuff. One user wrote on Twitter, “Ok……I’m not super duper jealous, Siri play Jealously, Jealously by Olivia Rodrigo” while another joked, “You betrayed me” referring to Rodrigo’s “Drivers License”.
