Uma Thurman and Maya Hawke Team Up in ‘The Kill Room’ Trailer, Reuniting with Samuel L. Jackson

The first trailer for the dark comedy film, ‘The Kill Room,’ has been released, and it promises an exciting reunion for “Pulp Fiction” co-stars Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson, nearly 30 years after their iconic collaboration. The movie also marks a special onscreen appearance for Thurman and her daughter, Maya Hawke, known for her role in ‘Stranger Things.’

Directed by Nicol Paone and written by Jonathan Jacobson, ‘The Kill Room’ tells the story of an art dealer, played by Uma Thurman, who teams up with a hitman portrayed by Joe Manganiello, and his boss, portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson, for a money laundering scheme. However, things take an unexpected turn when the hitman’s work is mistaken for avant-garde art, thrusting him into the spotlight as a sensation. As a result, the art dealer must navigate the art world while dealing with the underworld.

The casting for ‘The Kill Room’ was announced after Thurman and Jackson appeared together at the 94th Oscars last year, rekindling fond memories of their time working on ‘Pulp Fiction.’ The film also features an ensemble cast, including Larry Pine, Debi Mazar, and WWE’s Liv Morgan, adding more excitement to the mix.

Of particular interest in this project is the onscreen collaboration between Thurman and her daughter, Maya Hawke. This marks the first time the mother-daughter duo shares the screen, making ‘The Kill Room’ an even more special endeavor for both of them. Maya’s father, Ethan Hawke, directed her in the upcoming film ‘Wildcat,’ adding to the family’s impressive artistic legacy.
