Molly Gordon’s early aspirations were fueled by her love for movies, particularly after being captivated by films like “Anchorman.” Following high school, she wasted no time and moved to New York, briefly attending NYU before immersing herself in the world of improv and working at Balthazar as a waitress. “Theater Camp” originated as a short film, a collaborative effort by Gordon and her friends during periods of unemployment. Over time, the project evolved, with attempts made to adapt it into a television format. Eventually, the team secured the resources needed to shoot the film over 19 days in the picturesque Adirondacks.
