BTS fans, get ready! J-Hope’s documentary series, “Hope on the Street,” is set to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Produced by BTS’ label HYBE, the six-part series will give fans an intimate look into J-Hope’s life and passion for dancing as he embarks on a new chapter in his career.
The first episode of “Hope on the Street” will launch on March 28, a day before J-Hope’s “special album,” ‘Hope on the Street Vol.1,’ is released. Prime Video will release new episodes every Thursday and Friday, allowing fans to follow J-Hope’s journey in the 12th year of his professional career.
The docuseries will delve into J-Hope’s origin story, highlighting his love for dancing and his return to his roots as a dancer. Accompanied by his former dance instructor, the popping champion Boogaloo Kin, J-Hope will explore the streets of Osaka, Seoul, Paris, New York, and Gwangju, meeting inspiring street dancers along the way. The series will also feature songs from J-Hope’s highly anticipated solo album, “Hope on the Street Vol.1.”
“Hope on the Street Vol.1” is set to be released digitally on March 29 at 1 p.m. Korea time, with presales beginning on February 19. The album, described as a six-track “special album,” follows J-Hope’s successful 2022 solo album, “Jack in the Box,” which peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

The documentary series comes as a special treat for fans, especially as J-Hope is currently on hiatus from performing. Since April 2023, he has been completing his mandatory 18-month military service in Korea. After completing his basic training in May 2023, J-Hope was appointed as an assistant training instructor with Korea’s 36th Infantry Division in Wonju.
“Hope on the Street” promises to be a captivating and insightful series for fans of BTS and J-Hope, offering a unique glimpse into the life of one of K-pop’s biggest stars.
