Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Rajveer Mehta and Arav Hak are currently 16/17 years old. Studying at the reputed institution of American School of Bombay, Mehta and Hak are engaged in social work. Aiming to assist cancer patients to get adequate treatment, they have been putting in their days in and days out to achieve their goal. Known as messiahs for the masses, Hak and Mehta have stuck by each other’s side in all kinds of situations. Whether it is about researching for ways to make their dreams come true or about organizing fundraising drives, both of them have equally devoted their efforts and work towards their ambition. When it comes to their efforts, Mehta and Hak have collaborated with the Nargis Dutt Foundation (NDF) to amplify their objective and gather more and more volunteers. While working towards the treatment of cancer patients located in Kashmir, the two youngsters have arranged to help many more with treatment kits to be able to combat cancer. Likewise, their efforts have also been directed towards the betterment of children diagnosed with the same disease. Perhaps all their work has been a result of determination, selflessness, and unity portrayed by the two boys.
When asked as to why they decided to take up such an issue, the two reveal the dark reality that exists in the contemporary world. As studies suggest, the Union Territory of Kashmir houses only one department of paediatric oncology that is shared by 2 other UTs as well- Ladakh and Jammu. This dark reality is one of the major factors why Mehta and Hak decided to address this issue and took initiatives in the same direction. Empowered by the support of NDF, they have achieved a lot. Moreover, their other initiatives include a fundraising drive intended to collect funds in order to provide the needy people with adequate food packets during the COVID-19 lockdown. As most were hit by the unprecedented arrival of the pandemic, Mehta and Hak decided to distribute food packets among the helpless poor people who were in dire need of such amenities. That said, their ambitions have always been selfless and directed towards the welfare of other people. At such a young age Rajveer and Arav have worked hard and tirelessly to make their selfless dreams come true.
The messiahs of the masses, they have brought millions of smiles on people who somehow forgot to even hope for a better life! Making the best out of their education, the two have surely made their parents proud and intend to take up such initiatives in the coming future. Committed, confident, and conscious, Rajveer and Arav have every trait that a responsible individual should have in the modern world. Staying true to themselves and putting others’ needs before theirs, the two are a true inspiration. It is the unstoppable energy to help as many people as they can that brings them closer to their dreams and pushes them towards higher levels in life!
