The next film Selfiee, starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, has begun shooting, according to Bollywood company Dharma Productions. The drama-comedy is a remake of a Malayalam film directed by Lal Jr from a script by Sachy, and is being directed by Raj Mehta of Good Newwz fame. It was about a superstar (Prithviraj Sukumaran) who was well-known for his driving abilities but lost his licence.

However, when he gets into an altercation with a motor inspector (Suraj Venjaramoodu), who happens to be a fan of the actor, the situation spirals out of control.

“Selfiee” is produced by Sukumaran’s Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames, as well as Johar’s Dharma Productions and Kumar’s Cape of Good Films.

Dharma Productions, led by Karan Johar, announced the commencement of filming on the project on its social media accounts. They also released a teaser, and the film has generated some attention on social media since then.

Emraan took to social media to upload his own selfie to commemorate the event.

Director Raj Mehta, on the other hand, wrote a touching letter to his producers Karan Johar and Apporva Mehta, as well as his core team. Mehta took to social media to share photographs from the set puja, which included the official clapperboard for the film.

Akshay also shared a photo of him taking a selfie with Emraan on a motorcycle. He captioned it, “Murder actor is my perfect selfie partner. “Found myself the perfect #Selfiee partner! Hey @karanjohar, have we slayed this selfie game or what? @therealemraan”.

Khiladi also released a song from the film that features him and Emraan in another post. Both of their legs were seen shaking together.
