Savannah Chrisley, known for her role in “Chrisley Knows Best,” has opened up about the challenges she faces in balancing her personal life with her obligations to her family. In a recent episode of her podcast, “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley,” the 26-year-old revealed why she hasn’t been able to visit her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, in prison for the past three weeks.

Savannah cited her new relationship with Robert Shiver and her newfound responsibilities as the guardian of her 17-year-old brother Grayson and 11-year-old niece Chloe as the primary reasons for her absence. Juggling these commitments has led her to reorganize her schedule and prioritize her immediate family’s needs over visiting her parents in prison.

The reality star expressed feelings of guilt and internal conflict over not being able to visit her parents regularly, acknowledging the pressure she feels to fulfill her familial duties while also pursuing her own happiness and relationships. Despite her best efforts to manage her time effectively, Savannah admitted to grappling with a constant sense of inadequacy and the fear of not doing enough for her parents.

Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud last year and began serving their sentences in early 2023. While they work on appealing their conviction, Savannah has had to navigate significant family changes and milestones without their presence, including holidays like Thanksgiving.

Savannah’s candid revelations shed light on the complexities of familial responsibilities and the emotional toll of balancing personal desires with obligations to loved ones, offering insight into her journey of self-discovery and growth amidst challenging circumstances.
