Kim Rhodes, known for her role as mom Carey Martin on the Disney Channel series “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” recently shared a heartwarming story about how Dylan Sprouse stood up for her on set.
In a podcast interview, Rhodes revealed that during her pregnancy, the show addressed it with fat jokes. However, Dylan Sprouse, who played one of her on-screen sons, refused to deliver a particular fat joke line written for him.
According to Rhodes, Dylan consistently skipped over the fat joke line during filming, even when prompted by an executive producer. Dylan stood firm, stating that he would not disrespect any woman in such a manner, especially not Rhodes. He challenged the producers to come up with something funny that he could say instead.
Rhodes expressed her gratitude for Dylan’s gesture, emphasizing how much it meant to her. She also praised both Dylan and his twin brother Cole, referring to them affectionately as her “little men.”
