She was released shortly after being sentenced by the ghost of the late Headmistress Farah Dowling, who used magic to preserve herself before being killed by Rosalind back in the Season 1 finale so she could give the girls one last message about how to strengthen their power as fairies and reveal the location of the lost transformation magic.
