The critically acclaimed video game of the same name created by Naughty Dog exclusively for the PlayStation® platforms is the inspiration for the HBO Original drama series THE LAST OF US, which will premiere on HBO in 2023 and be streamable on HBO Max.
Summary: Twenty years after the destruction of contemporary civilization, THE LAST OF US occurs. A seasoned survivor named Joel is paid to transport a 14-year-old girl named Ellie out of a stifling quarantine zone. They both must travel across the United States and rely on one another for survival, so what begins as a simple task quickly turns into a violent, sad trip.
Cast includes Graham Greene as Marlon, Elaine Miles as Florence, Ashley Johnson, and Troy Baker, as well as Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Tess is played by Anna Torv, Sarah by Nico Parker, Frank by Murray Bartlett, Bill by Nick Offerman, Riley by Storm Reid, Marlene by Merle Dandridge, Perry by Jeffrey Pierce, Henry by Lamar Johnson, Sam by Keivonn Woodard, and Bill by Nick Offerman.
Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann are responsible for writing and producing THE LAST OF US. The show’s executive producers include Carolyn Strauss, Evan Wells, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Rose Lam.
