In order to save the Justice League in this movie, Krypto (Dwayne Johnson) works with a bunch of animals from a sanctuary commanded by Ace (Kevin Hart). This is a fantastically funny and creative spin on the superhero genre, with a strategy that makes it all worthwhile to watch. It’s exciting in all the right ways to watch a movie about a group of animals with abilities, and this one does a great job of realising that concept. With stunning animation and visual effects, the movie is a great choice to watch with family.
When the Justice League is taken hostage by Lulu and Lex Luthor, Krypto gathers the other Super Pets, including Ace the Bathound (Kevin Hart), Terrific Whatzit (Natasha Lyonne), PB the potbellied pig (Vanessa Bayer), and Chip the squirrel (Diego Luna). The movie has an 80 percent Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes as of Tuesday, despite the fact that its absurd premise seems to be winning over critics in the bulk of early reviews.
The endearing hero we didn’t know we needed is Krypto. This super-strong dog with a bespectacled secret identity named Bark Kent is voiced superbly by The Rock. He has a traditional, devoted bond with his owner, Superman. The two Kryptonians engage and play fetch in the opening scene in funny ways that they could only do. Krypto worries about being replaced as a result of his growing enmity for Lois Lane and Superman’s developing romance.
