What is the storyline of Seoul Vibe?
A dramatic car pursuit takes place on the streets of Seoul in 1988, in the thick of the Seoul Olympic Games, as the Samgyedong Supreme Team, a squad of brilliant drivers, finds themselves in the middle of an inquiry into a slush fund. Netflix has also supplied their own synopsis for the film:
“In the days running up to the start of the 1988 Summer Olympics, worldwide enthusiasm is building in Seoul.” The dress is vintage, the music is nostalgic, and the racing is world-class. The Sanggye-dong Supreme Team drivers accept an impossible offer and become embroiled in a VIP slush fund inquiry.”

When will Seoul Vibe be available on Netflix?
The feature film’s filming got underway at Eurwang-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon, South Korea. Our information indicates that the filming began in August 2021 and ended in February 2022. Notably, the film’s budget was less than $10 million. As expected, the movie will be released in 2022. According to the August 2022 release schedule, “Seoul Vibe will be available worldwide on Netflix on August 26th, 2022.”
The BBFC has given the film a 15 rating, classifying it as “Suitable for ages 15 and up” and noting violence and foul language as the basis for that decision. Runtime for Seoul Vibe is 138 minutes.
