Rapper and actor Curtis Jackson “50 Cents” will star in and produce Josh Stolberg’s horror movie Skill House, which also has him on board as a producer. Along with other cast members Leah Pipes, McCarrie McCausland, Ivan Leung, Neal McDonough, John DeLuca, Caitlin Carmichael, Dani Oliveros, Emily Mei, and Jacob Skidmore, he joins TikToker Bryce Hall and UFC veteran Paige VanZant.

Josh Stolberg, who also wrote and directed the Saw movies Spiral: From the Book of Saw in 2021 and Jigsaw in 2017, has some expertise with the Saw franchise. Both movies, which explore the genesis of the renowned cinematic villain, were created decades after the original series of movies.

Skill House is a horror movie in the style of Saw with additional comments on the negative aspects of online society and social media celebrity. The film will specifically examine the extremes people will go to in order to gain online “clout,” even if it means subjecting themselves to gruesome and unpleasant exploits.

For his part, 50 Cent has experience in acting. Along with portraying himself in the 2005 biopic Get Rich or Die Tryin’, he has accumulated a significant amount of parts in movies including Righteous Kill and the 2015 feature Spy. A Tiktok star herself, Hannah Stocking, who is also joining the cast, lends the movie an added layer of realism. Stocking has had a number of prior film and television roles, including one in the spooky Boo 2! A Madea Halloween, so this isn’t her first go at acting.
