Stranger Things 4

Netflix crashed a few minutes after the premiere of ‘Stranger Things’ season four volume 2 on Friday (July 1) morning. Twitter users also had a field day sharing memes and jokes about the unexpected crash. As millions of fans waited for the streaming giant to fix the technical glitch, a tweet war erupted on social media platforms. And hashtags became popular.

It wouldn’t be inaccurate to claim that “Stranger Things” has utterly swept the internet. Dedicated followers of the franchise immediately signed into their Netflix accounts to start watching the new season. However, the site was unable to handle the unexpected load.

The platform’s technical team handled the problem immediately, and the site was back online for fantastic watching. A “Network Error” appeared when Netflix customers attempted to stream the new season, which was undoubtedly unwelcome for many.

In its first four weeks of availability, “Stranger Things 4” already holds the record for being the No. 1 English-language series on the service, according to data provided by Netflix based on total viewing hours. The combined running time of the two episodes of Season 4 Volume 2 is little under four hours: Episode 8 is 85 minutes long, while Episode 9 is 150 minutes.

The Duffer Brothers, often known as Matt and Ross Duffer, are the creators, writers, and executive producers of “Stranger Things.” Winona Ryder plays Joyce Byers, David Harbour plays Jim Hopper, Millie Bobby Brown plays Eleven, Finn Wolfhard plays Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo plays Dustin Henderson, Noah Schnapp plays Will Byers, Sadie Sink plays Max Mayfield, Natalia Dyer plays Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton plays Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery plays Steve Harrington, Maya Hawke plays Robin Buckley, Priah Ferguson plays Erica Sinclair, and Brett Gelman plays Mur (Dr. Brenner).

Early on Friday, after being unable to access the service, Netflix members from all around the world resorted to social media to express their dissatisfaction. They also shared memes with “Stranger Things 4” ultra-villain Vecna.
