Variety has reported that actor Simon Helberg has joined Peacock’s Poker Face’s stellar cast. Helberg’s identity is carefully under wraps, but Natasha Lyonne is the show’s protagonist and is tasked with solving a different crime in each episode.

The streamer ordered 10 episodes of the series, which is directed by director Rian Johnson, in March 2021. Helberg joins a cast that already include A-list actors such as Tim Meadows, Benjamin Bratt, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Stephanie Hsu, Jameela Jamil, David Castaeda, and many more.

Helberg’s role as Howard Wolowitz in the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory is his most well-known performance. Throughout the show’s 12 seasons, he portrayed the part, receiving praise for his performance. As They Made Us, Annette, Florence Foster Jenkins, Good Night and Good Luck, and A Serious Man are just a few of the feature films he has worked on. For his performance in Florence Foster Jenkins, he was also nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of best supporting actor.

Johnson’s Oscar-nominated script for Knives Out, which he also directed, is possibly his most well-known work. The sequel to Knives Out, Glass Onion, is what he is now working on. He and T-Street are co-producing the Netflix series Three Body Problem, which is currently in development.
