Westworld Season 4 trailer released

EntertainmentWestworld Season 4 trailer released

Westworld’s fourth season premiere teaser from HBO is packed with ominous androids and existential dread. The acclaimed sci-fi thriller, which tells the story of an android revolt that started at an adult theme park and spread to the real world, comes back after a two-year hiatus.

Evan Rachel Wood, Thandiwe Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Aaron Paul, and Angela Sarafyan are among the cast members who are returning. The creators of Westworld are Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.

Westworld is based on a 1943 film written and directed by Michael Crichton, a renowned science fiction author whose books have since served as the inspiration for movies like Jurassic Park. The series’ co-creator, writer, director, and executive producer is Lisa Joy, while the series’ writer and executive producer is Alison Schapker.

Christina (Evan Rachel Wood), a brand-new character, is shown in the clip questioning her current reality. It’s interesting to note that although Wood has been a part of the show since Season 1, her character Dolores passed away in Season 3’s events. But the trailer offers more than that. We get a better look at Tessa Thompson’s Charlotte Hale, Ed Harris’ The Man in Black in a costume that would make a Tron fan salivate, and Aaron Paul’s Caleb Nichols gulping flies.

It sounds philosophical, even though it doesn’t give away much of Season 4’s storyline, so at least one thing hasn’t changed for the eagerly awaited fourth season of the programme. Teddy Flood (James Marsden), who is expected to make a surprise return to the series, is conspicuously absent from the video, as was revealed earlier this month. The series’ primary conflict, between a perspective on technological advancement and a darker view of technology’s place in human evolutionary history, is also hinted to in the teaser.
