Square Enix’s popular action role-playing video game Kingdom Heart’s fourth version was announced at the Series 20th Anniversary Event. Even though there was no announcement about the release date or platforms on which the game will be available but since Kingdom Heart 3 was available across multiple platforms like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows we can expect the same for the fourth installment.
Although the trailer does not contains much information about the gameplay we do get an introduction to Sora in the Quadratum world, a look at gameplay, plus an end tease featuring Donald and Goofy. The game’s creativity almost looks like those of its predecessors, but it is a lot more realistic than the previous version. Square Enix has also confirmed that the game is in “early stages of development” so the fans of the game have to wait for some more time.
The Trailer starts with the narration saying “If this isn’t the ending you desired – if it brings your despair – then leave this world for another.” The trailer takes us to a forest and then transitions into a big city where we Sora in an apartment with Strelitzia a character that was introduced in Kingdom Hearts Union X. Sora can be seen with his iconic keyblade as he flies through the sky, climb buildings.
There is a scene at the end where Donald, Goofy, and a mysterious figure off-screen appear looking for Sora, who is gone. Then, the mysterious figure says to them, “Hold on! Just where are you headed?” Donald and Goofy scream and the video cut to black with the phrase, “Magic in the Making.”
There was also an announcement for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link which is IOS and Android game that is expected to release in late 2022.
