After her arrest, Solo was processed, booked and later released from the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center, police said. Because of the inevitable prosecution, police didn’t shared any other details regarding her arrest.

Although, the lawyer of Hope Solo, whose name is Rich Nichols, issued a statement to the media, saying, “On the advice of counsel, Hope can’t speak about this situation, but she wants everyone to know that her kids are her life, that she was released immediately and is now at home with her family, that the story is more sympathetic than the initial charges suggest, and that she looks forward to her opportunity to defend these charges.”

Though it is not the first time that Hope Solo who is 40 years old has been in trouble with the law, in 2014 she was arrested and charged with assault after she attacked two relatives near Seattle. She pleaded not-guilty and in 2018 the charges against her were dropped.
