Avatar: The Way of Water has secured an exclusive digital release date and will include several hours of additional content upon its arrival as a science fiction sequel.
20th Century Studios has announced that Avatar: The Way of Water has set its exclusive digital release date and will be available on major digital platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV, Vudu, and Movies Anywhere from March 28. In addition, the sequel will come with several hours of bonus content, such as a commentary from the cast and crew, and behind-the-scenes featurettes. The movie will be available in 4K Ultra HD quality and feature Dolby Atmos audio.
Following its record-breaking theatrical run, Avatar: The Way of Water is set to be digitally released. The science fiction blockbuster is currently the third highest-grossing movie in history, behind the original Avatar and Avengers: Endgame. The movie was well-received by critics and earned numerous accolades and nominations at recent industry awards shows. Additionally, it is currently nominated for four Oscars (including Best Picture) at the upcoming 95th Academy Awards, set to air on March 12, 2023.
