13 years after the release of the first Avatar film, Avatar: The Way of Water will bring spectators to Pandora’s aquatic realm.
Although it has been more than ten years since the release of the first Avatar film, some fans have maintained the buzz by calling for not only the continuation of James Cameron’s story in the remote land of Pandora but also many other aspects of the production, such as the visuals and the soundtrack. According to the most recent information on the soundtrack, Avatar 2 seems to be able to deliver on that last promise.
The Weeknd wrote the song, which was teased last week, and Swedish House Mafia and Simon Franglen produced it. Simon Franglen, a Grammy-winning composer, will also provide an original score to the record. The movie debuts in theatres on Friday, December 16. The Weeknd finally finished the North American portion of his “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour last month, but it took longer than expected since he had to postpone the tour’s last event after losing his voice mid-performance. It was moved to November 26 and another performance was added on November 27.
The Weeknd revealed his opening dates for 2023 last week. They are in Europe and Latin America. Dates for next year’s events start on June 10 at Etihad Stadium in Manchester, United Kingdom. The tour’s newly announced European leg, which includes 21 locations, continues with six events in the most well-known cities in Latin America before coming to an end on October 15 in Santiago, Chile at the Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida. Additional dates for 2023 will be revealed.
Nearly 15 years after the events of Avatar, Avatar: The Way of Water will reintroduce viewers to Jake (Sam Worthington), Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), and much of the original cast while also introducing a brand-new tribe: the aquatic Metkayina. The sequel has received immensely good first reactions and reviews, even though nothing is known about the narrative. Many critics have stated that the aesthetics completely blew them away.
