Plot
In “My Spy: The Eternal City,” veteran CIA agent JJ (Dave Bautista) finds himself reluctantly pulled back into action when his teenage protégé Sophie (Chloe Coleman) convinces him to chaperone her high school choir trip to Rome. What starts as a seemingly routine assignment quickly escalates into a high-stakes mission when they uncover an international terrorist plot targeting CIA Chief David Kim (Ken Jeong) and his son, Collin (Flula Borg) – who happens to be Sophie’s best friend.
As they navigate the ancient streets of Rome, JJ and Sophie must use their unique skills to outwit deadly assassins, unravel a complex web of deceit, and prevent a catastrophic nuclear scheme aimed at the Vatican. Along the way, they enlist the help of quirky CIA analyst Bobbi (Kristen Schaal) and street-smart tour guide Fabrizio (Craig Robinson), forming an unlikely team determined to save the day.
