One of the major new TV debuts of 2022 was The Lincoln Lawyer, which was quickly given after a stellar showing in the top 10s and other metrics. Here is everything we currently know about the upcoming second season of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer, which will start filming in late 2022. On May 13, 2022, the first season of the show became available on Netflix worldwide. It happened just 18 months after Netflix decided to pick up the show, which had previously been in development at ViacomCBS (now Paramount), which ultimately decided against it. The show has a 75% rating on RottenTomatoes, which qualifies it as fresh, and equally impressive audience ratings on that and other websites.
Netflix revealed that we would be going back to sunny Los Angeles on June 14. Netflix announced the renewal in the following now-deleted Tweet: “LA’s finest lawyer is back. Season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix will premiere soon.
The Fifth Witness, the fourth book in Connelly’s Lincoln Lawyer series, will serve as the inspiration for Season 2’s 10 brand-new episodes. As Mickey Haller, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo will return to the scene. There will also be comebacks from Neve Campbell (Maggie McPherson), Becki Newton (Lorna), Jazz Raycole (Izzy), and Angus Sampson (Cisco). Campbell will make a comeback in a reduced capacity, as we’ll cover below.

Season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer: What to Expect
Neve Campbell was a series regular on The Lincoln Lawyer in season 1, and while she will return for season 2, she will do so as a “recurring guest star.” That simply means that the star will appear much less frequently in the second season.
We follow Micky Haller, who took over Jerry Vincent’s practise and cases and was immediately thrown into the fire. Throughout the first season, Trevor Elliot has been the main case. Elliot eventually avoided punishment in court, but he died after being shot. Whether Elliot actually committed the alleged crime against him is still unknown.
After a protracted absence from the field, Micky returned (not without a few bumps and bruises) fully signed off and able to resume working his cases. The first season ends with Micky being able to surf once more, but the tattooed man who has been present throughout the entire first season watches from a distance before the credits roll. Cisco also faces issues of his own. Mickey has been left to pick up the tab after he left the Saints. What’s going to happen there? We must wait and see.
