Strangers’ Best Surprise
One such instance had the defendant dressing up as Santa Claus to give $1.3 million in cash to John and Angel, a couple from Akron, at their residence. The pair in question was a contestant on the game program The Wall, whose executive producers were LBJ and Maverick Carter.
James would personally surprise John and Angel at their house with the $1.3 million win, to which the couple would respond pricelessly.

The 18-time All-Star drove to John and Angel’s house in his posh van with two suitcases loaded with cash. James would be greeted by audible shrieks as soon as he rang the doorbell. The thrilled family was in awe of what they were seeing.
However, the pair made careful to let the four-time MVP know that they couldn’t store so much cash at home, and after making arrangements, he consented to do the same.
It isn’t every day that a professional baller named LeBron James walks up at your house with $1.3M, so for the Akron couple, it was nothing short of a strange occasion.
