The upcoming Hulu animated comedy series “Koala Man” has added comedian Demi Lardner and Succession actress Sarah Snook to its cast.
Both were revealed on Thursday during the Koala Man panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
Vicky, played by Snook, thinks her husband Kevin, a middle-aged father and the somewhat pitiful title character, is only going through a phase.
She puts up with Koala Man, a superhero whose main ability is a fierce desire to uphold the law and put an end to mischief in the Australian town of Dapto.
Vicky does, however, hold out hope that Kevin would one day recover from his weird midlife crisis and show her the passion she believes is missing.
To advance in the social hierarchy of the school, the overly gregarious girl makes an effort to remove herself from her family.
The two are the newest actors to join the cast, which also includes Hugh Jackman and Michael Cusack.
Kevin’s daughter Alison, who is Liam’s twin, is portrayed by Lardner. Alison is fiercely committed to become the most well-liked student in her class and she has no intention of giving up.
The plot of the March 2021 straight-to-series order Koala Man centres on middle-aged dad Kevin and his not-so-secret identity as the titular character
Hugh Jackman, who plays Big Greg, the head of the town council and the most popular person in Dapto, will continue to lead the cast with Snook and Lardner.
