Season 2 of The Summer I Turned Pretty has begun filming, as shown in a recent behind-the-scenes image. The Summer I Turned Pretty debuted on Prime Video on June 17 for the first time.
The post includes a photo of series star Lola Tung working behind the scenes with author Jenny Han, whose books the series is based on, and it says, “And we’re rolling on season 2.”

Following 16-year-old Isabel “Belly” Conklin (Lola Tung) as she travels to Cousins Beach with her mother Laurel (Jackie Chung) and brother Steven (Sean Kaufman) to spend the summer with the Fischer family, is the subject of the television series.
She is, however, entangled in a love triangle this summer with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), one of Susannah Fischer’s (Rachel Blanchard) two sons, and Conrad (Christopher Briney)
This isn’t Han’s first adaptation of her writing; she also authored To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and its two sequels,
which turned into a beloved Netflix film trilogy and helped launch the careers of actors like Lana Condor and Noah Centineo.
