Madusa (Alundra Blayze), the WWE Hall of Famer who orchestrated the original moment, was moved by Jade’s actions while they were being broadcast live on television.

The WWE Women’s Championship was suddenly dumped into a trash can on live television by Madusa on the Dec. 18, 1995, episode of “WCW Nitro”

when she shockingly strolled onto the set holding it. She would thereafter experience a 20-year WWE blacklisting up until her 2015 entrance into the Hall of Fame.

Madusa has admitted in earlier interviews that former WCW President Eric Bischoff was ignorant of her plans to defame the WWE Women’s Title

In 2017, Madusa admitted on her podcast that she was “disappointed and maybe even a bit irritated” over her firing but “did not go in there thinking I was going to think of something to get even.”
