The popular actor Zachary Quinto was barred from a restaurant due to allegations of misconduct, according to staff reports.
A group of employees from a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based restaurant recounted their unfortunate experience with the actor, leading to his restaurant ban.
Manita, the bistro that Quinto, 47, supposedly attempted to visit during the weekend, took to Instagram to denounce the Star Trek actor’s behavior toward their personnel.
The establishment stated that the actor “yelled at staff, making them cry, and was emphatically told he was not welcome back.
“Although Zachary Quinto plays a remarkable Spock, he unfortunately does not measure up as a customer,” the restaurant expressed, pointing at Quinto’s memorable role in Star Trek.
“He berated our staff like a petulant child because he chose not to reply to two texts that indicated his table was ready. He could not accept that the clean tables in the dining area were already reserved despite being respectfully informed otherwise,” they elaborated.

“He made our hosts cry and the ambiance for our other guests became uncomfortable.
“Mr. Quinto, please take your negative energy elsewhere. While we have had many delightful celebrity visitors at Manita, you are certainly not one of them,” concluded the post.
CELEBRATING IN A DIFFERENT PLACE
Zachary has not made a comment on these allegations yet, and it seems he found an alternative dining location based on images shared on his social media Stories.
The Heroes actor seemed to be commemorating his birthday, which was on Saturday, alongside close friends.
A photo, presumably from another restaurant, depicted the American Horror Story actor getting ready to blow out a candle on a birthday dessert, with an appearance of gratitude.
Zachary’s representatives were contacted by The U.S. Sun for commentary but to no avail.
Many stars in Hollywood frequent Manita, a restaurant promoting itself as a “Mediterranean-ish bistro” on Instagram bio.
Open every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the menu features items such as chicken brochettes along with roasted mushrooms and burrata.
Quinto is well-known for his portrayal in Star Trek movies.
During his August 2022 visit to NBC’s Who Do You Think You Are?, Quinto had an astonishing revelation about a possible connection between his ancestors and his character Spock’s catchphrase.
In the show, he discovered a letter from his great-grandfather P.J. McArdle, dating back to 1899 that stated, “May it live long and prosper.”
Star Trek aficionados recognized the close resemblance to Spock’s iconic line, “Live long and prosper.”
The actor found the link “astounding,” particularly since Spock’s character came into existence 67 years after the letter was written.
It was later unveiled on the TV show that the saying originated from Rip Van Winkle, a theatre production that was in vogue during P.J. McArdle’s era.
Zachary Quinto’s next role is in NBC’s upcoming show, Brilliant Minds, set to premiere this coming fall.
