There are no bars that can define how successful a movie is in the ongoing pandemic, but it appears if there was one, Wonder Woman 1984 has been able to successfully clear it. The female superhero movie has roped in a box office collection of $16.7 million during the 3-day Christmas opening weekend.
Wonder Woman 3 Is Cleared For Production
The revenue figure is probably the best one among the ones indicated by other films that hit theaters this year. It has passed the collections made by Tenet and The Croods: A New Age. The two movies were severely affected by the current pandemic and didn’t see much in terms of box office collections. Though the figures appear to be disappointing in a regular year, WW84 has seen a much better time considering the current state of the world. Owing to this, Wonder Woman 3 is being put on a fast-track basis.
