AMC Theatres CEO Criticizes Warner Bros. Over Its 2021 Movie Release Plans

AMC Theaters has shown criticism towards Warner Bros.’ endeavors to out its 2021 films on HBO Max on the very same day when the films will see a release in theaters. The new movies will be up for viewing to all the people having access to HBO Max for about 30 days after their release. These include some of the major projects like Dune, The Suicide Squad, and The Matrix 4.

Adam Aron, CEO and president of AMC Entertainment, stated to THR, “Plainly, Warner Media means to let go of an impressive bit of the productivity of its film studio division, and that of its allies in producing movies and movie producers, to finance its HBO Max startup.”With respect to AMC, we will do all in our limits to ensure that Warner doesn’t do anything like this to our detriment.
