The recent updates about the wrap of the movie’s filming were delivered through the Twitter handle of Sony Pictures. The new movie is set to reboot the film establishment, taking it back to its shock roots and its 1998 setting in a withering American town. A photograph of the film’s LED clapperboard which timed more than 18 hours worth of film shot by Robertsdepicting in the fictional Raccoon City was recently shared.

Regarding the new Resident Evil movie, Roberts stated that he had a strong desire to take inspiration from the first two original games. He also said that his aim to tell the tale of a tiny town in America that was on the verge of dying. He was working very hard to make it feel relatable as well as relevant to the modern audience. But at the same time, he wished to recreate the experience that made the individuals terrified of the game when they tried it for the first time.

The reboot version of Resident Evil will be hitting the theaters on September 9, 2021. The film isn’t the lone transformation of Capcom’s famous loathsomeness arrangement that is at present underway. Streaming giant Netflix has likewise acquired license for producing two new shows based on the film series. One of them will be a live-action version.
