Here’s Mortensen’s memory of the scene: “There was a scene that we shot as such a memory flashback. It was from the romance days?and we shot it not long before we were taking a break so I was clean-cut and dressed up. They’d attempted to make me look as youthful as could reasonably be expected. I had distinctive hair and I was dressed like a mythical person. It was a scene from the book where they’re strolling in this elegant knoll. It was a delightful arrangement yet clearly it wasn’t required for the film. I’ve never observed it however I delighted in shooting that scene. It’d be ideal to see it really, it’s not in the all-encompassing versions all things considered.”
