Britney Spears and her fiancé, Sam Asghari, are leaving the state today to celebrate Britney’s 40th birthday.
Spears opened her Instagram post on Wednesday with, “Oh the lovely bliss today!!!” “My fiancé and I are very pleased to be going away…. as you can see, I’m not 800 pounds like the paparazzi portray me in photos… I’ve been working out, and the results are real… whatever the case may be!!!! Thank you, God, for allowing me to leave the country!!!! “I am so fortunate!!!!”
TMZ recently revealed photographs of the singer at a petrol station in Los Angeles, which she could be referring to.
Following the end of her 13-year conservatorship, Spears is slowly reintegrating into public life, though she recently declined an invitation to old pal Paris Hilton’s wedding due to the transition.
“She’s emotional,” a source told Page Six, explaining why she probably didn’t attend the party. “She’ll need some time to adjust to her new lifestyle. She’s getting used to her new life.” There was also concern that Hilton might be “camera shy” when filming her wedding for Peacock’s reality show “Paris In Love.”
The “Toxic” singer began her post-conservatorship life with a celebratory glass of champagne at Catch LA with her fiancé, Sam Asghari.
“Last night, I actually got my first glass of champagne at the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever seen,” Spears wrote on Instagram. “For the next two months, I’ll be enjoying my independence and my B day. After all, it’s been 13 years… “I believe I have waited long enough!!!!”
Asghari also posted a video of their date night, captioned it, “Somebody’s very pleased we’re going to dinner,” while Spears danced in the passenger seat to Salt-N-“Push Pepa’s It.”
Following the end of the conservatorship, the couple went on a Hawaiian vacation.
