A new Matrix Resurrections photo arrives finding Keanu Reeves’ Neo and Carrie-Anne Moss’ Trinity reunited in the science fiction action continuation. Franchise co-creator Lana Wachowski returns as director for The Matrix Resurrections with a content she co-composed with Cloud Atlas author David Mitchell and Sense8 alum Aleksander Hemon. The cast for the film is by and by drove by Reeves and Moss alongside the returns of Jada Pinkett Smith and Lambert Wilson and series newcomers Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Morpheus, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Christina Ricci.

The new Matrix Resurrections photo doesn’t offer much in the way of clarification for the film’s still-baffling plot, however it includes a pleasant hint for the advancement of Trinity and Neo’s relationship. The main trailer for the film saw the two once again introduced at a bistro in San Francisco, which appears to be the setting of the image with the large neon “Simmulatte” sign situated behind the two. The principal footage for the film also pointed to the coffeehouse being the setting of an action succession for the two in which Trinity seemingly displays some form of mind-bending powers.

With Trinity and Neo’s relationship in The Matrix Resurrections being one of the central issues of inspiration and concentration for Wachowski, it will certainly be interesting to perceive how the two are reunited, namely as the former seemingly passed on in The Matrix Revolutions.
