See What Will Poulter Comments On Adam Warlock Being Stronger Than Thanos

Will Poulter

Will Poulter, the actor who will star as Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, reacts to playing a character stronger than Thanos (Josh Brolin). Following years of speculation, it’s been finally confirmed that the grandiose character is indeed coming to the MCU. Considering that, there’s restored interest in what his part in the franchise will be moving forward, especially since the Infinity Saga has already wrapped up.

As recently mentioned, Warlock played a pivotal part in the Infinity Saga funnies narrative. He’s named as one of the most impressive characters in the Marvel legend and has battled and defeated Thanos before in print. When asked by Flip Your Wig (via u/l_l_l-illiam on Reddit) regarding this particularly noteworthy detail for his character, Poulter said that he’s incredibly grateful to join the Marvel family and the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. Given his saint’s superpowers, he revealed that he’s getting ready to flex it on the big screen once he makes a big appearance. Watch the interview beneath:

With Thanos presently gone in the MCU, chances of seeing him and Warlock battle each other are extremely thin. That being said, the introduction of the multiverse could offer a way for the pair to experience each other on the big screen. While variants of the Mad Titan are dead in the Sacred Timeline and in the reality where the Soul and Power Stone came from in the time heist, there are endless more universes that could in any case have their iteration of the character. And since the finish of Loki allows these branches of realities to overlap, it’s not outside of reality that a version of Thanos winds up in the prime MCU timeline. Assuming that this is in the cards for the MCU, don’t anticipate that it should happen anytime soon.

With explicit plot details for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 still firmly hush-hush, it’s hard to anticipate how Warlock squeezes into the narrative. There have been several signs, in any case, as to what the threequel may tackle. That includes the current whereabouts of 2014 Gamora (Zoe Saldana), who escaped after the defeat of Thanos in Endgame. Rocket Raccoon’s (Bradley Cooper) origin story could very well also be revealed. In any case, with production on the cusp of starting, hope to learn more about the film in the upcoming weeks.
