The original cast of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory offer their assessment of Timoth?e Chalamet playing the lead character in the impending prequel, Wonka. The 1971 melodic dream exemplary depends on the book named Charlie and the Chocolate Factory of 1964. The plot follows Charlie (Peter Ostrum), who comes from a helpless family. At some point, when he opens a chocolate bar, he finds a brilliant ticket that awards him admittance to the uncommon chocolate plant alongside four other fortunate kids. There, they meet the fantastical Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder), who guides them through the production line.
In a meeting with Yahoo Entertainment, they talked with four individuals from the original cast, including Ostrum, Julie Dawn Cole (Veruca Salt), Michael Bollner (Augustus Gloop), and Paris Themmen (Mike Teevee). They communicated that they were happy with the impending prequel. It was noted during the meeting that attempting to copy how Wilder managed the job is incredibly extreme, albeit a prequel would stay away from the issue of direct correlations. Themmen: “something pleasant for them is they don’t need to do an immediate examination since it’s a prequel rather than a revamp. So he doesn’t really need to be on par with what Gene was, which clearly is a colossally troublesome thing to do. Yet, gifted entertainer. I couldn’t say whether he has the wild eyes that Gene has, yet he’s sort of got the hair. Furthermore, an overall look that is somewhat comparable.”
Ostrum: “You can’t kill Wonka. It simply gets played again and again, whether the original or the revamp with Johnny Depp. Furthermore, that took consideration back to our film. Children saw Johnny Depp’s rendition, their folks said, ‘You need to see the original.’ Anything that discussions about Wonka is useful for the Wonka story. It’s an incredible story and it should be retold, paying little heed to who’s delivering it or who’s making it.”
Given that King’s film is a prequel, it’s anything but significantly more space for error to investigate other parts of the person. As Themmen expressed, direct correlations are more averse to be made, contrasted with when Depp starred in the job. Until pictures and trailers are delivered, it is hard to find out about how precisely the film will look and feel. Wonka actually has exclusive requirements to satisfy, albeit the ability on board is consoling.
