Reports on February 14 suggest that a Korean version of the crime thriller ‘Breaking Bad’, which featured Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, is currently in development. Although the sources of this information have not been confirmed, it appears that several seasons are being planned.

It is reported that JP E&M, in conjunction with Sony Pictures, will be responsible for the Korean remake of Breaking Bad. Director Lee Chang Yeol, known for his work on ‘A Song for My Dear’, ‘South of Eden’, ‘Happy Together’, and ‘Trick’, has been enlisted for the first season. The plan is to create four parts for the Korean adaptation, which is currently in the planning phase with no additional details on the cast or other team members. The actors for the lead roles have been mostly selected, but their identities remain a secret. The release platform for the Korean remake, which is expected to be an OTT release, is still unknown. The project is expected to begin production this year.

More About BREAKING BAD

Breaking Bad is an American crime drama series that first aired in 2008 and ran for five seasons on AMC. The show follows the story of a high school chemistry teacher, Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston, who turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine after being diagnosed with lung cancer. The show’s creator, Vince Gilligan, once described the show as a “21st-century Western.” The show has since become one of the most iconic and celebrated TV shows in history, with a massive following and a spin-off series named ‘Better Call Saul.’ In this article, we will dive into the world of Breaking Bad and examine what made the show so compelling.

The Characters

Breaking Bad’s characters are some of the most fully realized in television history. Walter White, the main character, is a brilliant chemist whose life has been defined by his failures. His cancer diagnosis is a catalyst for him to finally take control of his life and do something that he believes will benefit his family. But as he delves deeper into the drug world, he becomes more and more ruthless and violent, becoming someone entirely different from the character we meet in the show’s early episodes.

Jesse Pinkman, Walter’s partner in crime, is an equally complex character. He’s a former student of Walter’s who has fallen on hard times and become a small-time drug dealer. He’s initially resistant to Walter’s overtures to partner with him but eventually becomes an enthusiastic and skilled member of the meth operation. Throughout the show, we see Jesse struggle with his addiction, his loyalty to Walter, and his own morality.
