Reports on February 14 suggest that a Korean version of the crime thriller ‘Breaking Bad’, which featured Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, is currently in development. Although the sources of this information have not been confirmed, it appears that several seasons are being planned.
It is reported that JP E&M, in conjunction with Sony Pictures, will be responsible for the Korean remake of Breaking Bad. Director Lee Chang Yeol, known for his work on ‘A Song for My Dear’, ‘South of Eden’, ‘Happy Together’, and ‘Trick’, has been enlisted for the first season. The plan is to create four parts for the Korean adaptation, which is currently in the planning phase with no additional details on the cast or other team members. The actors for the lead roles have been mostly selected, but their identities remain a secret. The release platform for the Korean remake, which is expected to be an OTT release, is still unknown. The project is expected to begin production this year.

The Characters
