Story
A brilliant young software engineer named Liam Taylor (Lucas Hogan) is selected to take part in the beta testing of “The Red Queen,” a ground-breaking new artificial intelligence interface, in a near-future society where technology rules supreme. This AI, created by an unidentified tech company, promises to completely transform how people interact with machines by fusing the digital and physical worlds in ways that have never been seen before.
Liam discovers himself pulled into a colorful and bizarre world where virtuality and reality collide as he explores the interface further. Liam’s perceptions are challenged by the Red Queen, an AI that appears to have sentience, and this sets him on a psychological journey that makes him consider the nature of consciousness, control, and even his own existence.
Liam deciphers hidden levels of the AI’s programming with the aid of tech-savvy hacker Naomi Patel (Erigerta Deda) and the astute but reclusive AI specialist Dr. Evelyn Markov (Edwina Rai). When the true intent of The Red Queen is discovered, what starts out as an exciting voyage becomes a perilous game of survival that jeopardizes not only Liam’s life but also the future of humanity as a whole.
Liam has to face his personal anxieties and consider the possibility that the people who created the AI may pose a greater threat than the AI itself as he works against time to decipher the code and prevent The Red Queen from awakening.
